New Versions Of Jelly-Othelly Coming - Feedback Requested

Hi,

We have begun working on new versions of the Jelly-Othelly game for both the desktop computer, and for PocketPC devices. The new versions will have lot's of new ideas and features included, and it's at this time when I field out to you, the players, for ideas and suggestions of your own.

Out of all the games that we have made at F1, Jelly-Othelly seems to be one that isn't always understood, especially in America. The whole concept of playing Othello or Reversi is very daunting to a new player, so one of the big features that we want to replace is the entire instructions section. I'd like to implement a new training mode, where not only can you watch the PC play against itself, but you can actually see/learn what the PC is thinking at the time that it makes it's moves, and explain them a little better. If you have suggestions/feedback on this, we would love to hear hear it in this forum.

As mentioned earlier, the game is also being written on the PocketPC. The game will support both horizontal and vertical aspect rations, and will most likely run on VGA compatible PDA devices as well. We will release more of these details later as they emerge. If you have a Windows based PocketPC with a really odd screen size, let us know so we can make sure it works. The game should run without a problem on any Windows Mobile 2003 edition device and above (including SmartPhone).

If you have any other ideas or suggestions for the game, please let us know. We like to hear how we are doing, so we can keep improving our games!

Kind Regards,
Andy 'Fish-Guy' Kellett
