I have been using the Pidgin program that came with the PortableApps installation of my keydrive, and was sad to see that the program hasn't been updated in a while. When I am at work, I usually have MSN messenger running in the background so I can be reached in case of emergency. With the old version of Pidgin, I wasn't able to send or receive messages.

Thankfully, someone has been working on the latest port of the app for the PortableApps system!! You can find their hard work here, and update to the latest version at the same time for your PortableApps device:

This should hold everyone over with using the newer version until the guys who are porting the official Pidgin Portable versions get caught up. Cheers, Diego!
